Welcome to John B. Whitsitt Elementary School

Thank you for visiting our school web site. John B. Whitsitt Elementary is a Pre K-4 school that serves a multicultural population of approximately 500 students. The faculty, staff, and administration are dedicated and committed to the children and community whom they serve. We are striving daily to provide a quality learning environment that meets the need of every child. We provide a variety of resources to enhance learning. We seek and welcome parental involvement. Parental involvement is a key component to success. We have many active and involved parents. We are also proud of the thousands of volunteer hours worked to assist and tutor students at our school from our Pencil Partners at Creative Artists Agency. We also appreciate the support we receive from local churches and neighborhood organizations. John B. Whitsitt Elementary is a special place. It is our belief that all students can learn and that it is our responsibility to ensure that they do.
